Meet Jen Mimish (she/her), DNP, RRT-NPS, CNM, WHNP… which translates to Doctor of Nursing Practice, Respiratory Therapist for neonates and kids, Certified Nurse Midwife, and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I’m also an Associate Professor of Nursing at the College of Western Idaho.
After 20 years in healthcare, she created Eros Health to focus on her passion for improving access to sexual healthcare.
As a healthcare professional, she strives to provide a safe, judgment-free space to learn about your health. If you live in Idaho, she offers a telehealth service. Dr. Jen Mimish, NP is a member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) and a Board Member for the Idaho Association of Sexual Health Professionals (ISHP).
She is a wife, a mother of four girls & a bereaved baby boy, a traveler, concert-goer, and skier/snowboarder. She was raised in Boise, Idaho, and comes from a blended military family. Dr. Jen Mimish, NP attended Boise State University for Bachelor’s degrees in Respiratory Care and Nursing, then earned a Master’s in Nursing from Georgetown University, and finally a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University.
Dr. Jen Mimish, NP recognizes that people have unmet sexual health needs and limited access to sexual healthcare. She created Eros Health to provide people a safe accessible space to address their sexual health concerns and improve their overall health.
Outside of Eros health, Dr. Jen Mimish, NP is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the College of Western Idaho. Currently, she teaches nursing simulation in the areas of obstetrics, pediatrics, neonatal, respiratory, and advanced medical-surgical topics. Jen is passionate about empowering people through knowledge and access to sexual healthcare via telehealth.
